The top three student foreign exchange companies are YFU, AFS, and Rotary. Rotary is the cheapest but most competitive. Hope this helps!

Going on exchange is an amazing experience! I applaud your interest in it. YFU (Youth For Understanding), AFS, and Rotary are frequently called "the big 3" when it comes to exchanges - long histories and good reputations, although a few others are making their way up that list. Please forgive my bias towards YFU - it's the one that I have direct experience with (I am a 5-time host mom and volunteer). I am gaining indirect experience by corresponding with former students. When I have asked exchange students why they chose YFU, I get the following answers: (1) YFU gave them more bang for their buck and/or (2) someone they knew and trusted recommended YFU. 95% of the fees collected by YFU go for direct program costs (airline tickets, support in hosting country, etc.). YFU has been around for almost 60 years and has learned how to make exchanges successful. If you choose another organization, please make sure that it is is listed with the Council for Standards on International Educational Travel (csiet.org). They routinely audit programs for quality. While it is possible that a good organization is not listed with them, it is less likely and I would advise doing more research on anyone that is not listed with them. YFU has semester, 3-month, and summer programs to Australia. (They also have English-speaking programs in 3 other countries (India, Ghana, and South Africa) and programs to 30+ countries that do not require previous language study.) Check out the sites below and good luck to you no matter what you choose!!

Students who are looking for a bad credit student loan should pick three schools they are most interested in, talk to the admissions office, and ask what is needed to apply in their school.A bad credit<!--student loan is payable only after the student has completed his or her education, and has started earning a certain minimum amount. You can find more information on Student Loan here, http://badcredits.awardspace.com/student-loans.htm The minimum amount that the candidate of the bad credit student loan is required to earn has also increased. Bad credit student loans are available as both secured and unsecured loans-->depending on whether you are a homeowner or not. The rate of interest to be paid on unsecured bad credit student loans is higher than that on secured bad credit student loans. This is because the secured bad credit student loans are backed by your home as a security.

How are you Scottish or Irish if you've never left America? I would go with England or Australia.
2 :
I would say, England, because it was the old america if you think about it! ****But, if you are scottish, then I would say go to either Ireland or Scotland, because then you can reconnect to your heritage!
3 :
if youre a typical american, then you should probably go to australia. i personally prefer ireland because they are the least authoritarian. britain has a lot of anti immigration sentiments, as does australia, that is why it turns me off. australia also turns me off because of how right wing it is in general, but if you are a typical american, you will be right wing, and it wont matter anyway. i have heard from british people that scottish people are friendly, but that is just their view point. whether or not an american would consider them friendly is a whole other story. i dont think any of those countries are friendly, when compared with americans. irish people seem easy to get along with. i think you will be worshipped when going to britain and ireland, just because they watch a lot of hollywood films. aussies do too, but they seem to have a lot of hate in them. you have to remember, australia is a convict colony. i has a lot of similar beginings to america.

Australians are quite friendly- albeit in a different way than Americans. Plus the weather is generally warmer and there are awesome beaches. It would be my choice. But if you want to do any traveling, then go to England. You can get to most of Europe pretty cheaply from London.

It really depends of where you're from, what you like, and your overall idea of a good time. These are all my opinions, not solid fact. Australia is sunny, lively, and HOT. You would go here if you were from Florida or California. Pros: Beautiful beaches, friendly people, very similar to American lifestyle, always something to do, very active. Cons: It can get a bit too hot sometimes, and you can get tired of the beach scene eventually. England is full of history and culture, and many of its cities are beautiful. Most people are helpful and keep to themselves. Pros: Incredible cities, nice people, great education opportunities. Cons: For the most part, England's weather is rather solemn: cloudy, foggy, and rainy are common. Scotland is similar to England, though the countryside is much prettier. Ireland is for you if you can't live without the rolling hills and grassy plains feel. My personal favorite. Pros: Very friendly and accepting people, amazing countryside, culture explosions wherever you go. Cons: Like England and Scotland, Ireland's coasts aren't the best for play. Not what I would call "nice" weather, but not as hostile as England's.
