I am international student who is interested to study in Perth, Australia?
I am a Sri lankan who want to study in Australia. I heard that Perth is cheap. What are good and bad points about Perth? I hope to take Hairdressing course there. Is Perth Institute a recognized one in Australia? How about cost of living there? Is it possible to apply PR after completing my 2 year Diploma? How much can I earn by odd jobs per hour? Is it possible to find odd jobs there?

hey I'm Indian and lived in Perth. it is a great city. The University of Western Australia is the best uni in WA, but there are others like Edith cowan university and a private uni called notre dame university. these university's, especially UWA are one of the top uni's in Australia. Perth is a peacefull place but sometimes gets boring since it is not near other busy city's like Sydney. there are many odd jobs to be found in Perth and depending on your age and experience you can get from 10 - 25 dollars per hour. you can even get a job at a hairdresser shop and do work experience with pay. whilst from former accounts stating that Perth is cheap, in the past few years the Perth house market has risen and is the same as Sydney's.
