how long does it take to get a student visa to australia if I'm from Canada?
I want to apply to some programs that begin in July of this year. However, I'm wondering if I would be able to get a visa in time if I only apply now. How long does it generally take to get a student visa to Australia if you're from Canada Thanks for the website link, btu it doesn't say how long it will take. Anyone else knows?

14 days from the day your application is received by the Australian Embassy or Consulate in Canada Remember that you need to obtain the offer from the education institution too So that will take sometime as well Hope that help

Im from India.How many days will it take me to get an student visa to australia? Im having offer letter from a university(melbourne).im having only 40days left to join the university.

it all depends on the financial situation to accomplish the studies? if you already have enrolled in the University applied for your visa,and if you qualify financially,you should be able to take the courses on time, it basically lies on the finances and your records.

Due to a sudden increase in applications received, processing times for student visas lodged with the New Delhi office are currently at 12-14 weeks. Applications will not receive pre-visa assessment until 6-8 weeks after lodgement. After pre-visa assessment you will be contacted by a case officer who will provide you with a status on your application and the next steps.
