Im from India.How many days will it take me to get an student visa to australia? Im having offer letter from a university(melbourne).im having only 40days left to join the university.

it all depends on the financial situation to accomplish the studies? if you already have enrolled in the University applied for your visa,and if you qualify financially,you should be able to take the courses on time, it basically lies on the finances and your records.

Due to a sudden increase in applications received, processing times for student visas lodged with the New Delhi office are currently at 12-14 weeks. Applications will not receive pre-visa assessment until 6-8 weeks after lodgement. After pre-visa assessment you will be contacted by a case officer who will provide you with a status on your application and the next steps. I would think that the Australian Embassy in India is better able to advice on their processing time than a general information of a commercial visa agent acting wordlwide.
