me and my bf are both filipinos.he is on a student visa in australia and im working in ireland.im planning to visit him next year and get married.is that possible?what are the requirements we need and what information do we need to know.

Usual paperwork, birth certificates mainly. If it's to be in a church you will need a baptism certificate. You just apply for a marriage licence. Look it up on an Australian government website eg Births deaths and Marriages website.

getting married isn't the problem....One can always get married anywhere in the world. The real question is where will you both live., If he is on a student visa, and you decide to re-locate w/him in Australia, you would become a dependent/spousal student visa (not sure what the proper term for this)....but bottom line, you wont be able to work there.
