Can an american student transfer to a college in australia or scotland?
I'm an american college student and I have around 60 credits, I'm interested in moving to australia or scotland with my boyfriend and finishing college there. I couldn't find american colleges in those areas, so I'm wondering if I transferred into a college there, would I lose all my credits and have to start over?

The max credits you can count towards an american degree from an international uni is a year FT. You are asking for more than that. So you will need to apply for an Australian university and then try and apply for one year (the maximum allowed) of prior learning recognition. You will not be eligible for any student loans here and you will have to pay up front, and the higher amount. Most US loans will not pay for international study so you ned to make sure you have the money to do this.

Is it better to apply to an Australian uni directly as an international student or to use Study Australia?

Is it better to apply to an Australian uni directly as an international student or to use Study Australia?
I'm a recent college graduate in the U.S. and I'm very interested in pursuing at Graduate degree at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Is it better to apply as an international student directly through the university or to use one of those American companies such as Study Australia or Australearn as a middleman in the whole application process?

You should apply directly to the University as an International Student. You may download the application form, which will definitely guide you what to do for getting admission. I won't suggest to seek help/guidance from any agent at the beginning. Wish you very best.

You cannot work more than 20 hours per week* when your course is in session (other than work which has been registered as a part of the course). Note: No work limits apply during recognised periods of vacation offered by your education provider. You cannot undertake work until you have commenced your course in Australia. *A week begins on a Monday and ends on the following Sunday. Got it straight off the website ^^

I heard that people to people have really good fundraisers to help raise the money.

My brother went with them to the Mediterranean, a lot of the kids in his group did fundraisers because there weren't really any grants available. You could try to get family/friends to help put together a garage sale as a kind of benefit or maybe try writing letters to local businesses, churches, or radio stations for donations. He had the time of his life so good luck and I hope you have fun!
