How much can i earn in melbourne (australia) as an overseas student?
Considering the fact that i can only work for 20 hrs per week what is the amount i can earn and what is the average hourly wage i can get working some ordinary job.

Depending on where you work, and speaking from experience.... It increases with age until you're 21 and depending on your position. Assuming you'll be working in hospitality (since most seem to!), you'll be earning about $18 an hour, before tax. Keep in mind that you'll get this tax back when you leave the company (I think). Dependant on how much you make a week the company may also take superannuation out of this as well. I'd suggest getting your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol), crucial if you want to work anywhere that serves alcohol. Get yourself a job in a bar/busy restaurant, and then work at making extra money through tips!

I have done Graduate diploma in Business administration and now i want to do MBA but my visa is for only 13 months which will expire next month.what should i do to extend it.....its urgent please explain... THANK YOU ALL !!

I am an international university student in Australia . must I leave Australia after graduation?
I'm going to study civil engineering at university of Melbourne . I don't like to back to home after graduation . is that possible for me to stay in Australia to work ? or The government doesn't allow ? (something like Working/bussiness Visa or another way to stay . ) Please help me Thank you so much

i want to go on a student exchange to australia?
I want to go on a short exchange (maybe 3-6 months) to australia. does anyone know of any groups or organisations that do student exchanges like this? by the way im from new zealand and im 14

Try YFU (Youth for Understanding).... thats the only one I know of......

The best idea is contact the immigration at your local place. Why don't you check out at Australia Immigaration website which is www.austemb.org. All the best dude :D

Try AFS, they are the best AFS.org

first you must be a top student check out your local service organizations like the lions or rotary club, they may help you financially there are also various student exchange organizations in brisbane.

Rotary do short exchange to australia of 3mths what happens is you will come to australia and stay for 3mths and the family you stay with send their child with you to stay with your family for 3mths in NZ hope this helps
