Once an international student.... There are quite a lot of agencies who will give admission but its best to stick with IDP Education- (owned by consortium of all Aussie universities) Look up IDP website and get their local address- They dont charge a penny for applications etc- they do everything from application to visa handling to processing- and are the best cos they also have tied up with local migration agency- Although Bali bombing visas for indonesians are heaviy screened and subject to background checks- About the passport stuff- Hope u r refering to a contination of the earlier passport- addon book (not duel citizenship) I travel everywhere my first book is maxed out and these days i only carry my 2nd passport - its no issue

Now you need to book your ticket to Australia and if possible go 2 weeks before orientation so u can get used to the environment,. if ur living on campus, unpack the first day housing opens so u can familiarise with the residents... get prepared, make a list of what you will bring with

Anyone to sponsor for a foreign student interested to study Masters in Australia?

Anyone to sponsor for a foreign student interested to study Masters in Australia?
In reality, sponsors DO NOT pay anything; it̢۪s the students who provide first semester's tuition and six months living expense from home (approx AUD 20,000). Working part time covers for the rest. However, a student willing to study in Australia have to manage sponsor who is required to show not only AUD 50,000 but also a load of legal papers (source of fund, bank statements, tax returns etc)- a MERE FORMALITY that is keeping students (who can afford twenty but not fifty) from studying in Australia.

There are tons of scholarships that go unclaimed each year. Many $400, $500 or $1000 scholarships never even get applied for because people think it's chump change and not worth applying for. Well, get a few of those $500 scholarships and it'll really make a dent in your tuition bill. Do a search on scholarships, search your major, your ethnic heritage, your town, your parents employers, your employer, hobbies, high school, local chamber of commerce/rotary/ lion's club etc. Left-handed? There is a scholarship out there for you! Older woman returning to school? There are scholarships out there for you. Do combined searches on more than one criteria "hispanic women aviation scholarships" etc. Go to the library and ask the reference librarian for a reference book on scholarships. They usually have more than one. There are all kinds of scholarships out there, you just have to start applying yourself and make it your summer career to send out letters everyday for scholarships. Good luck!

Well, I got a letter in the mail today that invited me to go to Australia with People to People. Yes you could! :) I got a letter from people to people too and I just attended the meeting today. You could change it, but you have to pay a fee. What the guy at the meeting told us was that, just sign up for the place that you got invited to and then transfer to your best friend's. It may cost you a little bit of money though.
