Is a toefl result acceptable for a chinese student to apply a student visa to Australia?
I'm a Chinese student living in China currently. I will apply a PhD program in Australia with my toefl test result (which is acceptable in some universities), I would like to know that if a toefl result also acceptable to apply a student visa, or not? I visited http://www.immi.gov.au, but I do not know where to find it...:/ looking forward to receive your reply :)

No, Australia requires (demands) IELTS.
