Has anyone of you ever got international student loan for hairdresser program in Australia?
I got info that hairdresser is needed in Australia and I'm interested in that program so would be appreciated if you could share some of your experiences (if any)? Thanks a lot.

YA... u got the right information.... hairdresseres are really needed in australia .... And ya as u have asked if u r interested in that program ... u will get loan like other students do .. there is not special recquirement to get the loan .. just approach ur nearest branch and do some research .... Well i m doing IT in sydney ... however its good to do hairdressing do ... Cheers

Is it hard for a Canadian student to get a work visa in Australia? How?


Is it hard for a Canadian student to get a work visa in Australia? How?
I'll have a student visa and someone told me that's all I need, but I'm pretty sure I'd need a working visa as well. Maybe I'm wrong. Just not sure how it works, please only reply if you're certain though cause I don't want anymore "I thinks" to sway my opinion, already confused :P Thanks so much!!

If you have a Student visa for Australia, it automatically includes Permission to Work. You will be allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week while your course is in session and unlimited hours during official vacations. You can work anywhere at any type of work (you're not restricted to on campus work) but must not begin work until you actually start your course. What is the avaerage living cost in Australia for about a month for a student?
One of my friend has been selected for an exchange prog in Perth, Austrllia. He will get around Aus $ 10 grand to cover his expenses. We want to know how much it will cost for two time meals, living i na rented place and local travel expenses? Thank you. Its' urgent!

Depends.. renting a room? Or an apartment? For one month.. 10 grand will be plenty as long as he is a smart spender and uses his head.

If I apply for a vistor visa to Australia how hard will it be to get a student visa once I get there?


If I apply for a vistor visa to Australia how hard will it be to get a student visa once I get there?
I am an american citizen studying abroad. I have not been accepted to the university at which I intend to study yet, but have been assured I will. I have already bought my plan ticket so my the time I am accepted I will not have time to apply recieve my visa and make my flight to australia.

The USA is an assessment level 1 country so you will be able to apply for your student visa when you're in Australia on a tourist visa or ETA. Once you're accepted by the university though, you will be able to apply for your student visa online from wherever you are and it will only take a few days to a couple of weeks (at most) to be granted, so the timing simply won't be a problem.
