Jobs for foreigners with student visa. What are the options for Australia?
I am a systems analyst and I would like to know if I can work as a software developer in Australia with a student visa. Thank you.

No. You may be able to gain work experience, but you are not allowed to work for money while on a student visa. This should have been made clear to you.

if you are studying full time you can work anywhere for 20 hours a week You MUST be studying.....you may need to apply for a student work visa

The difficulty is that since you are only allowed to work 20 hours a week and those hours have to fit around your uni schedule its unlikely that you will find 20 hours within 9-5pm M-F to work in a company. No software developer will hire a student to work from home - this is a perk of an experienced SD.
