Australia is a developed country and a degree from a developed country is valued in Thailand. A degree from a developed country is highly valued in Thailand. Australia is closer to Thailand than either Western Europe or America. Also, I think Australian culture is easier for Thais to adapt to. It's more laid back and relaxed than America or Europe.
