Student visa in Australia and recently got married?
I am on a student visa here in Australia and I recently got married in the Philippines. I have read somewhere that I have to update my status in DIAC but I forgot where I had it read or if I just heared it from someone. I researched once again online and found it nowhere. Can you tell me if I really need to update my status to DIAC and how do I do this? thanks a lot.

You are not obliged to notify DIAC of the fact that you have married, though you should do so if there is the slightest chance that your partner will want to join you at some future time in Australia. http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/australia/processing-centres/students/ Student visa processing centres
